What happens if I change jobs?

If you leave your employer and move to another employer that's not in our Payroll Deduction Scheme, your payroll deduction will stop and you will need to repay your loan by standing order instead.

Standing orders are regular payments that are set up between yourself and your bank, e.g., you pay £100.00 to the Credit Union on the first day of every month. The bank then sends this regular payment on the first day of the month (providing the first day is a working day).

You will have to make sure that the standing order is set up correctly and that you have enough money in your bank account to cover the standing order amount. Some banks will charge you if there are not enough funds in the account to cover the standing order.

For more information on setting up a standing order, or if you need to update us about your employer, please call the team on 01902 572340 or you can complete the form on our Contact Us page.
